About Group Seating

How to Make Sure You Sit With Your Friends

At Dinner

Group Seating

Every person with a Prom Ticket or redeemed Companion Voucher is assigned to a specific table in the prom ballroom. Group Seating allows students to organize themselves in groups to be seated together.

Every student must be confirmed to a Group Seating by Tuesday, March 26, 2024, even if they are attending solo. Students who redeem a Companion Voucher will only be seated with the person whose Companion Voucher was redeemed if they both are listed on the same Group Seating Roster by the Group Host.

Group Seating Host

The person who requests or purchases the Group Seating is the Group Host. Only 1 person from each group is the Host.

We suggest you talk to your friends and decide who will be the Group Host before requesting or purchasing a Group Seating. Not everyone will be a Group Host, and only Group Hosts need to request or purchase a Group Seating.

Group Seating Options

Group Seating Hosts may choose from these options.

Mini Groups may be requested and Small Group Seatings may be purchased when ticket sales open on Thursday, January 4, 2024 until Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Groups of 4 or more will only be seated together if they purchase a Group Seating option. All prom purchases are non-refundable.

Group Seating is Automatically Confirmed

Most students will only have to be added to a Group Seating Roster by a Group Host. No confirmation or acceptance is required of the recipient. In previous years, students invited to a Group Seating were required to accept the invitation, but that is no longer the case.

If you want to move to a different group, you may decline the Group Seating in order to be able to be placed with a different Group. The Group Host may also remove you from the Group Seating Roster, freeing you to be placed with a different Group.
